NorthStar® In-Duct provides a longer product life with improved energy efficiency, absolutely zero ozone creation, and no mercury (which is often found in traditional UV lamps). You get an efficient air treatment in your home, combining ionization with low levels of vaporized hydrogen peroxide to reduce viruses, bacteria, mold spores, and pollen. NorthStar removes pet odors, helps keep the HVAC system mold-free, as well as destroys 99.9% of the harmful toxins. NorthStar LED uses an energy-efficient UV-A LED with 324 diodes and a proprietary TIO2 catalyst that creates Photo Catalytic Oxidation (PCO).
